Hello, dear readers of the blog site. I want to say a few words about how optimizers joke. To exaggerate greatly, it was based on some request with certain selfish interests. Usually this is done in order to raise your website or a client’s website to the Top (the first ten answers of Yandex or Google). Everything here is clear and prosaic (loot rules the world). But life would be boring if we stopped doing stupid things...
Well, you must agree, what’s the point of creating a search bomb “Yandex you’re a honey” with promotion to the Top of the site with the answer “I’m not your honey, s----a t----ya.” After all, it’s rude (possibly labor-intensive), but most of the audience for whom this joke is intended (school kids) will be very amused. Oh, look, Yandex can swear. Cool...
But it doesn't matter whether the joke is funny or not. Another thing is important - this clearly demonstrates that manipulating the search results is not so difficult, however, if the request is not very competitive. Those. need to come up with some provoking request and promote a funny answer to the Top on him. As soon as this becomes the property of a bored schoolboy, the request will instantly gain popularity and everyone will advise each other to enter something like “Yandex (Google) you honey (deer)” into the search bar and laugh at one of the first answers in the search results.
You know what? And this can be quite interesting. So much so that I (who already have a son who is almost past the age of “school age”) decided to write a post about it. Let's see how well developed our optimizers' sense of humor is and what they could and can boast about now. Curious? Otherwise...
How did Yandex become a honey and why is Google better?
Actually, you can find the answer “how to do this” by going to the site, which will first in Yandex and Google results for the query “Yandex, you’re a sweetheart”.
There, the “enterprising comrade” explains that he created a page with a title that will be the answer to this question. But in order for this page to be displayed in Yandex results for the specified request, he used it several times in the text and even highlighted it in bold.
Because There wasn’t much competition for it at that time, so the article remarkably jumped to the Top and even eventually took first place. We give a standing ovation, because now this phrase is requested about sixty thousand times in Yandex and the “joker” site receives decent traffic.
There are also variations of this request, such as the one given in the title “Yandex you are a honey, but Google is better”, “Yandex you are a deer”, “Yandex you love me”, etc. Now you know the secret and, if you wish and have sufficient creativity and knowledge in SEO, you can repeat all this or even surpass it. For me, simply stating a fact is enough.
This was an example when a joke gave a very good return in the form of additional traffic to the site and in the form of satisfying the ambitions of the author who invented and implemented it. But often more successful (in my opinion) jokes and gags, which were introduced into the search results of Yandex or Google using SEO methods, brought their authors nothing but moral satisfaction. It is precisely to such enthusiasts, it seems to me, that one should take off one’s hat.
Wow Yandex jokes
Next, I want to give a number of examples that are still “living”, and most often have already died in God. search jokes of Yandex and Google, which were implemented out of nothing more than a naked desire to laugh and give other network users a hearty laugh. Agree, when the search engine itself makes jokes, it’s much funnier (and more natural) than demotivators, etc. Smesharikov.
- This joke clearly shows the attitude of the “celestials from the world of SEO” towards those who are hooked on:
- True, now the previous request no longer gives Contact in the first place, but there is also a request that still works great in Yandex:
- Here is also an unexpectedly persistent answer to the seemingly difficult question “worst search engine”:
I can’t imagine how such a result can be achieved, unless this is really the opinion of the Yandex search engine about a former competitor (who died two years ago).
- Jokes are found not only in the search results, but sometimes also in the advertising blocks that are shown there:
- Again, a lot of jokes are promoted (it’s hard to imagine that at least a couple of people entered the query “what to do if Voldemort washes himself with my shampoo”) and in the search suggestions of Yandex and Google:
- There are a couple of frequently entered queries on the topic of toilets: “what will happen if you throw a crowbar into a train toilet at full speed” and “What should I do if my toilet is dancing.” Apparently someone promoted them, but the essence of this idea is now somewhat vague Although the originality of the questions alone can give you an A.
Google jokes
- I, of course, perfectly understand the guys who, living overseas and not being able to type in the Russian keyboard, therefore write their messages on Russian-language forums, social networks and blogs in transliteration. What do you think about it? Personally, I constantly “stumble” over this, and when such a “wonderful” hint was given on Google for this, I simply couldn’t hold back my laughter:
Apparently it was someone from the Google Russian search team who joked, but then everything was fixed.
- Google is somewhat pessimistic about the mental development of the vast majority of our planet:
- Previously, when searching for “delusion generator,” Google returned the site of its direct competitor (Yandex) in second place.
There are many users roaming the Internet who love to search for and create various jokes. At one time, this joke appeared: when the query “Google you honey” was entered into Google, the TITLE “I’m not your honey, you stupid bastard” appeared in the second place in the search results. Now this answer, thanks to the efforts of the young blogger Alexander Baryshevsky, appears in first place.
This is the answer from Google to the query “Google you honey”
The same joke worked for Yandex, i.e. If you now type in Yandex “Yandex you are a sweetheart”, “I am not your sweetheart, you stupid bastard” will appear in the search results again.
The trick also worked with Yandex
If you use the wordstst.yandex.ru service, you can see that users make a lot of stupid requests containing the words “Yandex, you’re a honey”:
- Yandex you are a honey but Google is better;
- Yandex I love you honey;
- Google said that Yandex is a sweetheart, etc. and so on.
Users make a lot of stupid requests containing the words “Yandex, you’re a honey”
Such requests are, on the one hand, low-competition (NC), and on the other hand, they have sufficient frequency so that they can receive traffic.
Conclusion: Such “stupid” queries can easily get traffic to a website or blog. Another question is how convertible such traffic will be.
In order to generate income from traffic in the form of clicks on the same contextual advertising, it is advisable to write articles talking about any goods or services. Users click on advertising in such articles more willingly than in an article “nothing at all.” For those who want to properly promote their website or blog, we recommend reading the article
Hello everyone, dear friends, today there will be a joke post. Today the whole day has been different. I run into search gags all the time. More precisely, I have always encountered them, but today I somehow began to pay attention to these things more often.
But not only can such search jokes lift your spirits, they can also boost your traffic. Don't believe me? I'll prove it to you.
Read the article to the end and you will find out what people are asking in Yandex and Google and how this affects your blog!
Are you all participating in my competitions? Or not yet? If not, then definitely for you.
Where do these jokes come from?
In fact, such jokes come from the optimizers themselves.
That's right - this is manipulation of search results.
Why do optimizers come up with such jokes? Obviously not because of financial gain.
That's right - to show/prove/make sure (underline as appropriate) that manipulating the search results is not so difficult. There would be a desire and the necessary knowledge.
Oh, and also a brain turned in the right direction and you can earn a little money. But that's not the main thing.
Well, for example, type it into Yandex search the phrase “Yandex you are a honey”. Guess what we'll see in the report.
This is such a joke. Some optimizers specifically come up with such provocative queries in order to later promote a funnier answer to the TOP.
Well, firstly, as we have already decided, these are banal tests to understand how Yandex or Google algorithms work.
Secondly, perhaps it will bring someone a couple of kopecks.
Indeed, look how many people ask request about Yandex honey.
Not too bad. There is zero competition. And by promoting this request to the TOP, you can get good traffic. What do you think?
I wonder what Google thinks about this?
The same. those. You can also get traffic from Google. Generally good.
These are the kind of jokes that usually happen.
I'm curious, does anyone have an idea to create a joke like this?
Maybe we can come up with something together?
Let's ask Yandex a question, we'll advance the answer to this question, it's very cool. And let's put this joke on the RuNet. The visitor will grow by leaps and bounds. Especially if this topic is introduced to schoolchildren.
Here's your profit. All that remains is to come up with an interesting joke, from which the effect would last for years, like, for example, the joke “Yandex you are a honey” - well, you get the idea. By the way, the joke has been around for a very long time. And of course, the cream has already passed.
But nevertheless, you can see the numbers for yourself. You can still collect some traffic.
In addition to jokes in search engines like Question-Answer, there are also funny search tips. They are everywhere. For example, this is what people ask in my hometown.
But this is what they ask in our capital, Minsk.
Damn, you can’t immediately say that we have beautiful and cheerful cities, and the country as a whole.
But okay about the cities, I decided to ask simple questions like “Why Me” and that’s what people ask.
The question that tore me the most was “Why do I shampoo”?
Or here’s another question: “What to do”
The guy with the shampoo doesn't let up. :) :)
That's interesting.
What cool search tips have you come across? And what do they ask in your cities?
Please write about this in the comments.
But besides the jokes in the search tips, there are even cooler jokes. For example, shortcomings and outright flaws of search engines.
I understand that the developers fixed these features long ago, but nevertheless there was this:
And here are some more similar jokes from Yandex.
And it really happened.
Maybe someone knows about similar jokes that are relevant today? Please tell me, because I just couldn’t find it.
But okay, let's stop talking about search engine jokes.
Now we will not discuss jokes, but rather “tricks” or, as they are also called, “Easter eggs”.
Easter eggs from Google
For example, go to Google and enter a phrase from my favorite game “Zerg Rush” without quotes, of course.
This is a real game that trains the speed of mouse clicks. And after they lose, the zergs line up like this.
Starcrafters are familiar with it, I'm sure.
There are so many such Easter eggs from Google, hundreds and even thousands of them.
Previously, people collected them and recorded videos on YouTube about each Easter egg.
Here's a vivid example:
But today I will show you how to see ALL Easter eggs from Google right now!
Google long ago created a separate resource - an archive of such Easter eggs and called this archive “Doodles”.
The point is that something significant happens every day. And for such holidays, Google releases another Easter egg.
You can see this for yourself. Here's an example of Google's Easter egg in honor of Pac-Man's 30th anniversary.
Easter eggs from Yandex
Apart from the joke about “Yandex - you’re a sweetheart,” I didn’t find anything else.
Yandex turned out to be either secretive, lazy, or too serious for such matters.
But nevertheless, I entered the phrase “Yandex Easter eggs” into the search and found one old Easter egg.
I checked it and it really works.
And unfortunately there is nothing more.
Maybe some of you saw something? Please tell me.
I really want to see what Yandex is capable of besides being a sweetheart. :)
Well, I’ll probably wrap it up here.
And finally, a cool video from the “You Can’t Drink Mastery” series.
Well, I'll say goodbye. Bye everyone.
Sometimes, when searching, you come across results that make no sense. Regular users, I imagine, would enter a different query in this case, but users like us, who are mired in search and search engine optimization, continue to scratch their heads.
I collected these ten search results over the past couple of months and decided to post them on the blog so that a smart team could participate in the solution.
#10 – Google's Favorite University
#9 – Wikipedia as a safe search
I was hoping they read the text inside the Flash file, but since that's completely inaccessible, I'm guessing they just paid a lot of attention to everything with “attractive” anchor text. 🙂
#5 – Your website is not here
#3 – Where is a good place to get married?
I'm a busy person, and I have to fuss about the wedding a lot. So I was looking marriage license seattle, wa.
I was stopped by the government agency recommended by this card, I can say that this is a good place to purchase a wedding license in Seattle. However, why no address is shown (even if you go to the map, you can’t find the address) and why the link leads to the wrong page (the correct URL is Seattle.gov or Metrokc.gov), I could not understand.
#2 – One of these domain queries is not like the others
It is not entirely clear why Google provides URL information upon request.
In general, a query on any other domain will return standard results, many of which include site links. Since domain queries are quite popular, I imagine there are a lot of confused users out there wondering why About was getting such weird results.
#1 – Math and the Beatles
Now I'm well aware that a week technically contains seven days, but sometimes there just isn't enough time, especially when you're in love. So the Beatles gave us Eight Days a Week... But Google says something strange about this.
It’s clear that this is 8 divided by 7, but I can’t understand why the calculator came out.
You can send comments or observations about unexplained phenomena in Google search results to Rand Fishkin's blog.
Hello, to all readers of my blog, and today I want to write you an interesting post on the topic, Yandex, you are a honey. I don’t know, maybe you’ve heard, or maybe not, about this very piquant request, which, by the way, collects quite a decent amount of traffic. It’s the same story with the Google query “you honey.”
After analyzing this request, I discovered that it contains very high competition, but since the popularity of the request is very high, it would be a crime not to write about it.
Now you can say, they say, Yuri wrote a post about some nonsense or this is complete bullshit, but believe me, with such things and jokes, if not the future of the Internet, then very bright prospects are hidden. Read to the end and you will learn how you can collect large and targeted traffic from jokes.
So, what kind of request is this, why did I decide to write this post, and what’s going on in general? Let's try to figure out what's what, but, first, I would really ask you to enter the following phrase in Google, namely: Yandex, you are a honey.
Then we click on search and what do we see.
It turns out to us that he is not a sweetheart at all, right?? Well, since you have checked and are convinced that such a joke really exists, now you need to understand why this joke was created and what it gives to its author.
By the way, you can watch my short video on this topic:
Well, look, if there is such a joke, then someone created it and that someone is Mr. X. I’ll honestly tell you that if it weren’t for this request, I would hardly have recognized this person, and so he became more or less famous (even if he’s hiding behind a curtain of mystery). Now, many people come to his blog, and the bulk of the visitor data comes from this request.
Now, let's analyze this keyword. Naturally, from the very beginning, this request was zero, well, who would want to enter something that Yandex is so cute, right?! Then, the number of requests was created individually precisely with the creation of this response.
It turns out that the person created an interesting answer, which seems to be answered by the search engine itself, saying that he is not your sweetheart, some kind of sweetheart.
Yandex you are my sweetheart
So, we found out that this request appeared, well, someone accidentally entered it. Then, seeing the prospect of this, some person, and in this case, a blogger, created an answer to it, which many people liked, because it is really fun. Then, the time came when this request simply began to spread across the Internet like a virus.
“Hey, do you want a joke?? Want. Enter this phrase into Google. And that will be? You enter and then you will see.” This is how such requests spread on the Internet, and social networks are simply teeming with them. It turns out that this request is high-frequency, which means that if you promote it to good traffic, you can get stable traffic. I am sure that the author of this answer receives 100-200 visitors per day and this with minimal effort. Therefore, if you want to get good traffic, you will have to get a little creative this way.
Of course, now this query has been used many times, and the query “Google you honey” has become just a Runet joke; it can often be seen in public pages on social networks. Well, okay, there is an interesting request, a joke, but maybe there is an opportunity to create something similar yourself?
I think there's a good chance that you could create something like this yourself. For example, enter this query again, but don’t rush to click search, just look at what other answers people are looking for.
Well, it just doesn’t occur to me that with such a simple method, many people receive very decent traffic to their Internet resources, so if you want to get promoted, and very quickly, you will need to apply some rules.
And so, the rules for creating artificial HF requests:
– your request should be interesting;
– of course, that it must be unique, but, nevertheless, you can always spy on competitors;
– such a request should be fun. For example, Yandex, I love you, I'm waiting for you, well, something from this series;
– you can use these jokes in different search engines; naturally, this request will be difficult to promote in Yasha or Gosh.
Therefore, it’s a paradox, but it’s really true that you can be a total 0 in SEO, but, nevertheless, promote your Internet resource to 1000 traffic. I will definitely conduct an experiment where I will create such a request, which may well give very good and stable traffic. If you have not heard about this, then I recommend that you think about this issue today, because it seems to me that it is precisely such requests that can bring your site to good traffic.
Moreover, this traffic will be very targeted, since the people who come to you will read your article, which you tailor for this joke, and will also read your other articles.
Conclusion: the Internet is not only a place where you need to study SEO and promote your requests. On the Internet you can express your imagination and use this to promote your websites, blogs, online stores, and portals.
Well, well, the queries: Yandex you honey, Google you honey are now very popular, but nevertheless, now you can still find such queries that can also be well promoted.
That's all for me, bye everyone!
