For several years now I have been an ardent fan World games of tanks. Of course, I heard about the release of a version for mobile devices - World of Tanks Blitz, played it a little and even fell in love. However, the lack of a suitable gadget prevented me from fully enjoying mobile tanks. For a comfortable game in World of Tanks Blitz my samsung galaxy The S5 was not enough due to the relatively small display, besides, it warmed up noticeably, but gave out confident 45-50 frames per second. But on my old nameless tablet from eBay for 60 US dollars, it turned out to be completely unrealistic to play, the device gave out no more than 20 fps. I think you understand that such indicators are not enough for a comfortable game.
One of my Samsung friends Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition. I tried to play in the tanks on it. Everything is super, all the same 50 frames per second, nothing is heated, everything is clearly visible, but this device (and another similar one) costs quite a lot - 35 thousand rubles. Of course, I am a fan of tanks, but buying a new, powerful and clearly not cheap tablet just for the sake of a toy - thank you. It’s better that I simply open them - a crisis in the yard, not to excess :)
In general, I temporarily decided to abandon World of Tanks Blitz. But a couple of months later I accidentally met a colleague at work in a smoking room who was sitting and playing tanks. I stared at him on the screen, saw all the beauties of modern graphics and the cherished figure - 50 fps. With all this, I did not recognize the tablet model, although I thought that I understood gadgets. After waiting for the end of the battle, I asked to see an outlandish device: it was a model of the Russian brand bb-mobile called Topol. specifications this device. For example, I found out that it is equipped with an octa-core processor, a Mali-450MP4 graphics accelerator and has 2 GB random access memory. With all this, the Topol costs 11,700 rubles. Well, it's very tempting, especially considering that tablets of the first echelon brands with similar characteristics are priced much more expensive.
After lengthy negotiations, I managed to beg my colleague bb-mobile Topol" for the weekend, so to speak, to test it in action. (As a result, the testing lasted for a week, so I wrote this review with full responsibility.)
Perhaps we'll start. The bb-mobile Topol case deserves respect. Firstly, the device looks decent. You can’t say that this is an inexpensive model of a local brand. Secondly, the case can be safely called ergonomic. The edges are flat, which adds convenience to the grip both in the vertical position of the gadget and in landscape orientation (which is exactly what is needed for World of Tanks Blitz).
Metal is more pleasant to hold in the hand than plastic, and during loads in demanding games, it better removes the heat that the “stuffing” emits. And, of course, the metal gives more chances that nothing in the Topol will be damaged when it falls. In short, if you already play tanks, then on a tablet-tank! And the hero of this review is just that.
Not only the back side of the tablet is protected - the screen is covered with a special glass, on which, in addition, a protective film is glued.
The power key and volume rocker are located on the right side of the tablet (when held vertically).
Connector for recharging (microUSB) and headphone output - on top. There is also a hardware reset key, prudently recessed into the body: to press it, you will have to use a toothpick or a needle.
There are no more connectors outside. At first glance, it may seem that the user will have to be content with only the allocated amount of internal memory, which, by the way, is 16 GB. However, on the back side of the bb-mobile Topol", there is a plastic insert on top. It is removable, and under it is a microSD memory card slot. In addition, there is a slot for a SIM card. Yes, the gadget is equipped with 3G- modem.Moreover, it is used not only for accessing the Internet, but also for voice calls and exchanging text messages.Such an overgrown smartphone (the earpiece and microphone are available).
I can only say good things about the screen. If you do not know its characteristics, then it is safe to say that it is Full HD. In fact, it is HD, that is, 1280 by 800 pixels, and this is with a diagonal of 8 inches. The image is clear and bright. Viewing angles reach maximum values - 178 degrees. Such indicators are achieved thanks to the use of high-quality IPS-matrix. In general, I was pleased with the display.
Now let's move on to the most interesting - to the "stuffing" and performance. bb-mobile Topol" is built on an eight-core chipset from the Taiwanese company MediaTek - MT8392. Each processor core operates at a frequency of up to 1.7 GHz. As I said, the Mali-450MP4 graphics accelerator is used here, and the amount of RAM is 2 GB. The tablet works very, very smart, but I will not get ahead of myself.
It is important that all the cores in the processor can work both simultaneously and NOT simultaneously. The device automatically adjusts the number of processor cores involved and their clock frequency. For example, you play the same World of Tanks Blitz, this requires maximum tablet performance. Therefore, all processor cores are involved, and their clock frequency becomes close to the maximum. To surf the Internet, view photos and similar tasks, a couple of cores are enough. Well, in standby mode, only one core works at all at the minimum frequency. Everything is simple and practical.
Let's turn to popular performance tests and see how many "parrots" bb-mobile Topol is gaining. Agree, it's impressive.
Now let's go directly to performance in games, namely in World of Tanks Blitz. As I said above, bb-mobile Topol "confidently keeps the bar at 50 fps. The graphics are beautiful, the battles load quickly, and the device practically does not heat up even with a long game. For two days I played for several hours in a row - the temperature is even close did not rise to the same level as the Samsung Galaxy S5 in the same game in just a couple of fights.
For the sake of interest, I launched NOVA 3 on bb-mobile Topol ", which was already installed on the tablet by my colleague. The result is absolutely no thoughtfulness of the device, everything is fast and beautiful.
We figured out the performance and temperature, everything is in order here, but what about the power consumption? The 8-inch bb-mobile Topol "uses a 4,000 mAh battery. For a tablet, this is far from a record figure. But time battery life he's pretty decent. You can continuously play the same tanks for about 4-4.5 hours, which is quite a lot. According to a colleague, the gadget can play HD video for about 7 hours.
The bb-mobile Topol operates under Android 4.4.2. The tablet interface is no different from the standard one, that is, no shells or launchers are used.
It is also worth mentioning the presence of two cameras: front and rear. Their resolution is 2 and 5 megapixels, respectively.
There is not much to tell about the first one, for Skype it is enough for the eyes. The second one copes well with photographs outdoors on sunny days, with insufficient lighting, noise is clearly visible in the pictures.
And finally - about the modules wireless communication. I already spoke about the 3G modem. In addition to it, there is GPS, which allows you to turn bb-mobile Topol "into a car navigator. Also, of course, there is Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. I can't express any complaints about their work.
A few words about the packaging, it is very decent - a case, a screen cleaning cloth, a microUSB cable, a 2A network adapter, an OTG cable, a stylus, a headset, instructions and a warranty card.
Let me summarize. I liked bb-mobile Topol. I actively used the tablet for two days and during this time I did not find any flaws in it. The device is good both externally and internally, I mean the “stuffing”. In games, it works "with a bang. It seems to me that such characteristics of hardware will be relevant for more than one year. At the same time, Topol has a quite affordable price tag - 11,700 rubles. I'll think about taking one for myself over time. If I will not stop loving "Tanchiki".
A tablet computer is a great assistant for students, secretaries and people of other professions. However, first of all, such a device is purchased by users for entertainment and recreation. In particular, many buyers want to choose a tablet for gaming, where they can compete in accuracy with other players in shooters or prove their ability to drive cars in races. Other buyers prefer simple entertainment, like various cooking games, all kinds of platform games or fun arcade games. And our review of the best gaming tablets for 2019 will help you choose the right device for any project.
Best Inexpensive Tablets for Gaming
The low cost of the tablet does not mean at all that, apart from projects from the “three in a row” category, it will not be possible to play anything on it. In fact, such devices often boast impressive performance. If you love games like Guns of Boom, Asphalt 8, WoT Blitz or similar, then any of the tablets below are perfect for you! At the same time, each of the three models selected for this category also stands out for its good design, high-quality assembly and convenience, which will appeal to students and people who plan to use a tablet computer not only for games.
1.Lenovo Tab 3 Plus 8703X
The device from the Chinese brand Lenovo opens the rating. The stylish Tab 3 Plus is the most powerful budget device in the ranking. In terms of price and quality, this tablet bypasses all major competitors, because it is able to please the owner with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor and an Adreno 506 graphics chip, which allows you to run any games at maximum settings. There is also a lot of RAM here - 3 gigabytes. The built-in storage in the reviewed device is only 16 GB, which is not enough to install a large number of applications. Yes, and support for drives only up to 64 gigabytes is also not encouraging. At the same time, the microSD slot is combined with the tablet's SIM card tray. However, all these shortcomings can be forgiven for the excellent build quality and high performance. In the video reviews of the tablet, its stable operation in Wi-Fi and LTE networks is also highlighted as an advantage.
Advantages:
- as for a budget device, the device is very powerful;
- wireless modules work just perfect;
- not bad appearance and high build quality;
- there are two slots for installing sims at once;
- top sound;
- the system works very fast;
- good matrix (1920 by 1200) with a diagonal of 8 inches.
Flaws:
- no protective coating on the screen.

2. Huawei MediaPad M3 Lite 8.0 32GB Wi-Fi
The second line in the TOP of inexpensive devices is occupied by the popular tablet model from Huawei. The metal body of the MediaPad M3 Lite, high-quality stereo speakers and a fast fingerprint scanner are three important reasons pay attention to the observed model. The hardware platform of the device is also quite good. It uses a Snapdragon 435 processor with an Adreno 505 graphics accelerator. The RAM and permanent memory in this device are 3 and 32 GB, respectively. But there is no SIM tray here, which did not allow the device to take the first position. But if this nuance does not bother you, and you have not yet decided which tablet to choose with an 8-inch screen, then the MediaPad M3 will be an ideal option for a purchase.
Advantages:
- durable metal case;
- visually and tactilely felt more expensive than its price;
- perfect balance between power and autonomy;
- the quality of the 8-inch (1920x1200) display is very good;
- excellent stereo speakers with clear sound;
- smart fingerprint reader;
- awesome battery.
Flaws:
- no sim tray.
3. Lenovo Tab 4 TB-X304L
The next line was occupied by a model with a Snapdragon 425 chipset and Adreno 308 video. But for a screen with a resolution of 1280x800 pixels, such a “stuffing” is quite enough. On Tab 4 TB-X304L it is quite possible to run most modern games, enjoying a high frame rate. A powerful 7000 mAh tablet battery deserves special attention. With such a battery, the device can easily work 12 hours a day. standard mode use. In addition, an inexpensive gaming gadget manufactured by Lenovo has a SIM tray (there is support for LTE) and good stereo speakers.
Advantages:
- the system works smartly and without failures;
- the quality of the 10.1-inch screen is excellent;
- there is a tray for a SIM card;
- surprises the volume of stereo speakers;
- battery life will suit any user.
Flaws:
- pixel density and low resolution can be uncomfortable for the eyes;
- protective coating of the display leaves much to be desired;
- for some games is still weak.
The best gaming tablets
Today, more and more entertainment appears on mobile phones, which a few years ago were developed only for full-fledged consoles and computers. At the same time, many modern games are created simultaneously for several platforms, including tablet computers. If this did not convince you of the importance of mobile gaming, then you should also pay attention to the regularly held championships, where players compete using their smartphones and tablets. And, of course, both pros and ordinary connoisseurs of mobile entertainment can get the maximum pleasure and opportunities from games only on advanced devices. The quality of the matrix, the power of the hardware, the stability of wireless networks, the indicators of autonomy - all this should be impeccable. And the first among the best in terms of characteristics, we can name the following 4 models.
1. Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 9.7 SM-T825 LTE
The best gaming tablet in the review opens this category - Galaxy Tab C3 9.7 from the South Korean giant Samsung. This is a new device, the presentation of which took place only in February 2017. For this reason, we have a powerful tablet built on the basis of the modern Snapdragon 820 hardware platform with Adreno 530 graphics. The RAM here complies with the LPPDR4 standard, and its volume is 4 gigabytes. The built-in drive, alas, is not as impressive in volume, because 32 GB is installed today even in many state employees. However, if necessary, a tablet with a large 6000 mAh battery allows you to expand the storage with microSD cards.
Advantages:
- pretty good stylus S-Pen included;
- very high quality 9.7-inch matrix (2040x1536);
- decent sound quality speakers;
- happy with the battery life;
- works very fast;
- the tablet copes perfectly with any games;
- Samsung's signature design stands out from the competition.
Flaws:
- impressive weight;
- touch buttons for some reason without backlighting.

2. Apple iPad Pro 12.9 32GB WiFi
Apple is a unique technology manufacturer. For several decades, Americans have been making their products much better and more functional than all competitors. However, users have to “vote with a ruble” for reliability and performance. So for the iPad Pro 12.9 you will have to pay more than 40 thousand rubles. And for this price, the nimble Apple tablet cannot boast of the ability to install a SIM card. The built-in memory is only 32 GB, and it is impossible to expand it. Yes, and the device's cameras can hardly be called impressive, but the quality of the pictures cannot but rejoice. In addition to these shortcomings, there are no minuses in the reviewed model. Before us is the most functional tablet with powerful hardware: an A9X processor with a pair of 2.26 GHz cores, 4 GB RAM, a first-class 12.9-inch Retina screen (2732x2048 pixels) and one of the best stereo speakers installed in portable devices. The operation of the fingerprint scanner is also not satisfactory. If you choose a device not only for entertainment, but also for work and creativity, then a powerful gaming tablet model with a good 38.5 Wh battery will delight you with the support of a convenient Apple Pencil branded stylus.
Advantages:
- recognizable corporate identity of the manufacturer;
- high-quality metal case;
- impressive uptime;
- a huge matrix with impeccable color reproduction;
- very productive hardware and OS speed;
- support for a functional branded stylus.
Flaws:
- significant overpayment for the brand;
- the stylus must be purchased separately;
- the cameras are good, but usually Apple installs better sensors;
- built-in storage is not enough and it can not be increased.

3Google Pixel C
A first-class 10-inch tablet is offered by Google. Elegant design, NFC, stable Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, up-to-date Android version, excellent stereo sound, and USB-C 3.1 port are just some of the advantages that Pixel C boasts. This tablet can be used for work or play: additional The device offers a comfortable keyboard that allows you to quickly type large amounts of text, and the NVIDIA Tegra X1 processor with the Maxwell video chip does an excellent job with any modern games. Of the pluses, you can also highlight a high-quality matrix (2560 by 1800 pixels) and 4 built-in microphones at once. As for the shortcomings of this device, we can single out only a small number of offers on the market and the associated increase in cost. And if earlier users could purchase the device in the official Google store, then at the end of 2017 the manufacturer removed this good tablet from it.
Advantages:
- comfortable keyboard (optional) with induction charging from a tablet;
- bright and well-calibrated 10.2-inch matrix;
- high quality workmanship and corporate identity Google;
- hardware platform performance in games;
- the presence of 4 microphones, stereo speakers and NFC.
Flaws:
- The device is very difficult to find on sale in Russia.
4. ASUS ZenPad 10 Z500KL
The main advantage of a productive tablet from ASUS over its competitors lies in its price. The average cost of ZenPad 10 Z500KL is only 30,000 rubles. For this amount, the user gets a good design, a high-quality 9.7-inch display with a resolution of 2048x1536 pixels, a Snapdragon 650 processor with powerful Adreno 510 graphics, and 4 gigabytes of RAM at once. The device is powered by a capacious 7800 mAh battery ( fast charging present). In addition, the tablet is equipped with SIM card support (nano format), a modern Type-C 3.1 port and excellent stereo speakers. Optionally, the device can be purchased branded stylus. However, alas, ASUS failed to make an ideal device. So, in the ZenPad 10 tablet with a large screen, there is no fingerprint scanner and backlighting of the touch buttons, and many users call the location of the speakers inconvenient.
Advantages:
- display color reproduction is well adjusted;
- build quality and design reliability;
- overall hardware performance;
- good sounding built-in speakers;
- convenience of a branded stylus (not included);
- impressive battery capacity.
Flaws:
- inexplicable rejection of the fingerprint scanner and button illumination;
- Not everyone will like the placement of the speakers.
Which gaming tablet to buy
As with the choice of any other technique, you can stop at a specific device after determining the basic requirements for the device. For simple games and while away the time in public transport, models from the first category are suitable. For advanced gaming, we have included the best premium devices from 4 global IT companies in the rating of gaming tablets. Among them, you can purchase any suitable device, based on the features of the OS, the quality of the display, the attractiveness of the design, and the additional features you need.
At the current stage of development, the game is launched and supported on iOS and Android systems. Therefore, the requirements will be described only according to the OS. In addition, developers are mainly focused on tablets.
Minimum requirements for iOS:
At the moment the game is launched and works on tablets starting from iPad2 and phones starting from iPhone 4S. On these devices, the game will work with at least an average level of graphics.
iPad1 and iPhone 4 currently not supported. Work in this direction is underway. The developers assure that they will try to enable players to play on these devices at low settings.
GPU requirements for Android devices:
Tegra 3
Mali-400MP- medium-low settings (not yet optimized, may be improved)
Adreno 225- medium-low settings (not yet optimized, may be improved)
PowerVR SGX544MP2- at least medium settings.
On all GPUs above stated, the game will run at medium or high settings. Support for GPUs of other families will be carried out as far as possible and commensurate with their growth in popularity.
GPU PowerVR SGX 540 installed in Galaxy Tab 2 currently not supported. Work in this direction is underway.
An approximate list of Android devices on which the game is being tested:
-
Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (GT-N8000)
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 (GT-P5200)
Sony Xperia Tablet Z (2013)
ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity TF700T-1B012A
-
Samsung Galaxy Note 8 (GT-N5100)

ASUS Transformer TF201
Galaxy Tab 2 10.1" (GT-P5110)
Amazon Kindle Fire HD 16GB 7" (2012)
Lenovo IdeaTab S2110
The devices differ greatly in their performance in the game and it is not yet possible to guarantee normal operation on all of them. Well, the presence of a device from the list is not a guarantee of getting into the closed beta test.
Some additional data
According to preliminary estimates, the game will occupy about 250 MB in virtual memory.
Estimated weight of the game is 500-750 MB.
But we strive to warn that all figures are currently approximate, and changes are possible in any direction.
What to expect from the release?
According to various sources, it is worth waiting for 70 to 100 combat vehicles for release.
The types of technology already known are:
Light tanks
medium tanks
Heavy tanks
Anti-tank self-propelled guns (PT-ACS)
Each type of vehicle will have unique game characteristics and require a special style of play. Self-propelled guns in the game are currently not planned. The performance characteristics of the equipment will change compared to the PC version, but they will try to preserve the character of the machines.
Three development trees are already planned in the game:
Soviet
German
American
Each development tree will have three branches of technology development. The pumping speed will be faster than in the PC version. There will also be premium vehicles in the game.
The planned number of levels is 10. E-100 and IS-7 are already known from the tops.
Game format: blitz battles 7 by 7 players. There will be an opportunity to play platoons for 2 and companies (the format has not yet been determined). A Global Map system for clan wars is also planned. The duration of the battle will be shorter.
Changed balancer, unlike "large" tanks, by -/+1. The approximate size of the cards is 500x500. Basically there will be open cards. But the introduction of city maps is also planned.
The light mechanics are inherited from the PC version, but due to the smaller size of the maps, the view radius on vehicles will be smaller.
Changes in the booking system compared to the "big" WoT are not expected.
At the moment, the project is not part of the Single Account system and is currently developing as an independent project, but a player who already has an account in World of Tanks or World of Warplanes can register through a single Wargaming.net ID account.
The release date is still unknown. Prior to release, players will be able to take part in a general closed beta test of the game. The game will not have an alpha test!
With the new update, a branch of American tank destroyers has appeared in the game. Now you have the opportunity to ride the legendary Hellcat, the unsinkable T30 and the well-armored T110E4.
world of tanks Blitz- the official game from Wargaming, which was released on mobile. The developers did their best to take into account all the requirements and wishes of the fans in order to create full game on Android.
Some changes have been made to the gameplay, but in fact these are the same tanks, only adapted for the tablet. Now each team has seven players and no artillery. You can choose a heavy tank, medium, light or tank destroyer.
World of tanks Blitz has excellent graphics, a wide variety of vehicles and a well-optimized engine. Compared to the original, of course, there is less technology here, but with each update it becomes more and more. At the moment, there are four branches of technology development in the game: Great Britain, USSR, Germany and the USA. Compared to the PC version of the content, of course, not very much.
If you are a fan of WOT, then Blitz will be a real gift. The game is not synchronized with the main account, all equipment has to be downloaded from scratch.
The mobile version of World of tanks Blitz has undergone many changes that experienced tankers will immediately notice. Graphics and physics are greatly simplified compared to the original. Separate maps were created for Blitz, which are not in the main game.
For a very long time, world of tanks players have been waiting for the opportunity to play their favorite game not only on ordinary personal computers or their mobile versions - laptops, but also on tablets. And finally, such an opportunity arose. But not everything is so simple. The game has rather serious requirements and in most cases it simply won’t “go” on a lot of weak tablets. That is, you need to purchase a new tablet that would be ideal for this game. There are many options for such devices, but you need to understand what elements you need to pay attention to. The first is the video processor. Fortunately, all new tablets are equipped with quite high-quality components and this element will not greatly affect the performance of the game, but only if the tablet is really new.
The second element that you also need to pay attention to is the clock frequency of the processor. The best option would be a processor of about 2 GHz or more. Smaller variants are also acceptable, but there may already be unwanted problems with the game. The amount of RAM must be at least 2 gigabytes. The remaining parameters are no longer so significant, the only thing that would be better is if the screen has a large size and a high-quality matrix. These two parameters will have little effect on performance itself, but will have a significant impact directly on the comfort of the gameplay and the pleasure of the game.
Based on the above, this article will offer the latest innovations among tablets that can provide a high-quality and comfortable game at adequate settings. There are actually a lot of them, however, not all of them are optimally suited for this game. In addition, not all modern tablets have all the necessary parameters, since different versions of them may be suitable for different games, applications, programs and have different functionality. That is, some tablet models are more suitable for games, including world of tanks, others are more focused on working with documents, searching for information on the Internet, working with graphics, and much more.
The first device with suitable characteristics is Teclast T98 4G. It runs on the Android operating system, version 4.4. The processor clock speed is 2.0 GHz and the amount of RAM is 2.0 GB. The screen size is 9.7 inches, while it has an IPS matrix, which guarantees excellent image quality. Of the minuses, it is necessary to note the glossy coating of the screen, which will glare in bright light, and it will be uncomfortable to play. The rest of its parameters and indicators are quite standard for tablet computers. Since they have little direct effect on game process, they will not be considered in this article.
The second tablet on offer is called the Lenovo ThinkPad Helix. Of the positive features, it should be noted the clock frequency, which is as much as 2.8 GHz, 4 gigabytes of RAM, a large screen, more than 11 inches in size and an IPS matrix. Cons - a glossy screen, on which it will be difficult to make out something in bright sunlight or any other light. Another not the most positive element is the used operating system Windows 8, for which the game is simply not optimized. Just like the first model, all other characteristics and features are completely standard and do not affect the gameplay in any way.
The third tablet is manufactured by Nokia and is called N1. Two gigabytes of RAM, a clock speed of 2.3 GHz and an IPS matrix will allow you to play world of tanks with high quality and comfort. However, the small size of the screen and its glossy finish can slightly reduce the overall impression of the game. The remaining functions of this tablet are generally standard for all devices of this type and there is no point in dwelling on them.
The fourth proposed device is called the Pro Slate 12 Tablet and is manufactured by HP. In all its parameters, it is excellent for the game. This tablet has four cores and a clock speed of 2.3 GHz. At the same time, the amount of built-in RAM is 2 gigabytes. The screen sizes are also optimal for the game and are 12.3 inches. The rest of the parameters are standard.
The last described device is called STYLISTIC Q584 from Fujitsu. Of the minuses, it should be noted that the used is not the most optimized Windows system 8 and a glossy screen that will show a lot of glare from bright light. On the other hand, this tablet has a 2.4 GHz clock speed and as much as 4 gigabytes of RAM, which is more than enough for a compact game. An excellent and high-quality image is provided by a large ten-inch screen and IPS matrix. Everything else does not particularly affect the gameplay and will not be described in this article.
In general, all the modern tablets described above are well suited for high-quality and comfortable playing in world of tanks. They allow you not to worry about the fact that the game will “slow down” or there will be any problems with it. Thanks to all this, if you choose a tablet that would suit the specified game, then choose either from the models indicated above, or their analogues with similar parameters and characteristics. Otherwise, on weaker and less productive tablets, the game may not work as well or constantly “bug out”, which is unlikely to provide pleasure from the gameplay.
